Connectivity
Redundancy is taken care off with multiple leased lines running from Reliance and VSNL into the Prithvi's premises. The link termination devices handle both load balancing and fault tolerance.In regard to leased circuits it thus provides performance and redundancy. With 12 Mbps of dedicated speed, our 24x7 download center helps us download, maintain and implement newer enhancements.

Security Policy
Security is not merely a product, which could be achieved by implementing various security systems, tools & policies - but a process. The security methodology to be implemented is multi-layer based and follows the principle "Defense is in Depth". The idea behind multi-layered defense security is to manage the security risk with multiple defensive strategies. If one layer of defense turns out to be inadequate, another layer of defense will, ideally, prevent a full breach.
At the physical level, access to IT Resources and Data Centre is restricted using Access Control Systems, Hand Geometry Systems, supported by redundant power supply, UPS connectivity and Industrial grade coolant systems assuring maximum uptime of the various devices. At the logical level, Prithvi follows four layered security model, hindering and filtering internet and intranet traffic at Network level, OS & Application level, Host level and Data level, thus providing secure and safe access to information. Continuous monitoring is done by Prithvi's tech support staff using Intrusion Detection Systems, Content filtering, Logging, Auditing & Backup methods to prevent and recover from break-in-attempts and network system compromise.
