| Education: |
- Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunication/ Electronics or equivalent
- Or Diploma in Electronics and communications

| Experience: |
- BE - 3 - 6 years experience in radio performance management
- Diploma – 5-9 years experience in radio performance management
|
| Essentials for the Role: |
- Good understanding of GSM/CDMA radio network planning concepts and systems. Knowledge in WCDMA/ Wimax will be an added advantage
- Adequate knowledge of Ericsson/Nokia radio product configurations and BSS parameter planning.
- Good knowledge in radio network dimensioning concepts.
- Good knowledge of other vendor radio products
- Good understanding of radio network planning concepts of In-building solutions.
- Hands on experience in CW test planning, data collection and propagation model tuning.
- Good presentation skills.
- Exposure to radio network planning tools like Asset or Planet EV, Wizard, drive test tool (TEMS, Agilent, Nemo), post processing tools – Actix, gladiator.
- Exposure to transmission network planning concepts and network topology, backhaul and backbone.
- Verbal and written fluency in English.
- Customer orientation.
- Good communication / negotiation skills.
- Willing to travel

| Responsibilities: |
- Analyze CW measurements and propagation model tuning, and defining slope and intercept as per the clutter definitions.
- Plan radio network and provide high- quality, cost effective and practical solutions and releasing nominals and search rings to identify probable candidates’ sites.
- Knowledge about Traffic modeling, and capacity radio network design.
- Dimensioning of a mobile network considering both present and future network capacity demands and evaluate practical solutions.
- Supporting field survey teams in identifying suitable location for sites.
- Planning BSS parameters and cell data bases.

| Desirables: |
- Knowledge on GSM/GPRS/EDGEsystems.
- Experience in Radio network planning tools.
- System/product knowledge & planning BSS part of mobile network to delivery Quality at first step, Product Configuration or similar experience.
